This was SUCH a sweet session for me! Allison and I go all the way back to high school together (OVER 10 years ago – HOW?!) when we were on the high school cheer team together! We’ve kept in touch over the years and even worked together one summer at good ole Bronson Rock in Keller. I photographed their engagement in 2018 (see below for the full story), so this was such a ‘full circle’ moment for me! We even photographed this session at the same lake where they got engaged a few years ago – it was absolutely perfect!

So the story goes…

The summer of 2018 when I was kicking off my photography business, I put our a model call for a couple to do a session with to help build my portfolio. Allison reached out and said her and Daly would love to – what a fun way to get some photos of the two of them together, right? So we set a date and time and LITTLE DID I KNOW… Daly had other plans! He texted me letting me know he was going to propose during our session! WHAT THE WHAT?! We came up with a game plan it was absolutely beautiful – Allison was SHOCKED! That session is such a special memory for me (I STILL remember how nervous I was – my camera was literally shaking). I will never take for granted being trusted with capturing my clients’ most special memories…it is truly an honor!

So fast forward 2.5ish years – Baby Searfoss is on the way! They scheduled a fun baby announcement session to share their news with the world, and I’m so glad they asked me to be a part of it! Congratulations, you two! I’m so happy for you and cannot wait to see you become parents to the sweetest baby boy! Sending prayers and good thoughts for a smooth remainder of your pregnancy and a safe delivery!
