I’m so excited to share some of this spring wedding at The Grand Ivory! This was such a sweet day and FUN celebration for Lee Ann and Colton – it was such an honor to be a part of it! I met Lee Ann late last summer over a cup of coffee and we hit it off immediately – se is the sweetest soul and was such a stunning bride! I’m so excited to share a little bit of this special day. 🙂
We started the day off in Lee Ann’s bridal suite finishing up hair and make up and took a few quick photos on the porch with her bridesmaids. There’s nothing I love more than I good champagne pop! One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is getting the bride into her dress. It’s such a special moment to witness and capture! Lee Ann had all of her girls by her side as she finished getting ready. We then took a few quick bridals and bridesmaids photos in the gorgeous chapel on site!
Before tucking Lee Ann away before the ceremony, her and Colton shared the sweetest ‘first touch’ together. A first touch is a a great alternative if you don’t want to do a first look – you still have the tradition of seeing each other for the first time down the aisle, but have the opportunity to spend a few minutes together prior to the ceremony. These two decided to share their vows during this time and it they were so beautiful. I was crying behind my camera!
The ceremony was so sweet and we finished the day with some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds. Their reception was too much fun with lots of dancing and merriment! Lee Ann and Colton are both Texas A&M grads so of course their reception had to end with the Aggie War Hymn!
Congratulations, you two! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
