This was such a beautiful and sunny spring engagement session at White Rock Lake for Michelle and Chandler! This was my first session after about 3 weeks of rain and it felt SO good to be out shooting again! We had to reschedule our session twice due to the crazy spring weather. I’d say the third time was the charm and well worth the wait! 🙂 I had such a great time getting to know Michelle and Chandler better and so enjoyed capturing this special season for them! I absolutely love how their sneak peeks turned out!

Michelle found me through being a bridesmaid in one of my sweet bride’s weddings! I was so excited when she reached out about having me do their engagement session. We started out our session at Prairie Creek Park in Richardson so their sweet pup, Duke, could join us for the first few minutes. He was the cutest boy and knew exactly how to smile for the camera! We then made our way to White Rock Lake for the second half of our session. Between their outfits and the light, this spot felt so whimsical! It’s hard to believe this was taken in the heart of Dallas – it felt like we were in a countryside meadow. 🙂

I love asking newly engaged couples how the proposal took place. The stories are so fun to hear and always so unique for each couple! As Michelle was planning a surprise birthday party for Chandler, it turns out he was planning a surprise proposal for her instead! These two are now planning a destination wedding next year in Mexico! So fun!! Congratulations to the future Boettchers!
