I absolutely loved Lauren and Sara’s engagement session at White Rock Lake! I initially met these two in January at Oak and Ivy’s Sips and See event. After talking to them for about two seconds, I knew they would be such a sweet couple to work with. I was so excited when they inquired with me not too long after the event! It felt like I was just catching up with old friends throughout our entire client consult – we laughed and chatted for so long! Our engagement session wasn’t much different – we spent so much time laughing and had the BEST time together!
When Lauren mentioned wanting to incorporate trees and water into their session, I knew White Rock Lake would be the perfect spot. We met there on a Sunday evening and lucked out with the BEST weather! Thankfully the few clouds and rain drops subsided and left us with a slight breeze and not too terrible of temperatures, which is SO rare for June in Texas. It was truly the perfect evening and such a sweet, sweet engagement session! It’s so easy being around these two – they are some of the kindest souls you will ever meet. Their gentle demeanor and happy-go-lucky spirit is such a joy to be around!
Lauren and Sara are getting married this fall at DFW’s newest micro venue, Manor 402! This is Oak and Ivy’s ‘little sister’ – the owners purchased this beautiful manor in Aubrey and completely renovated it to be the perfect micro venue. This will be the perfect quaint space for their sweet and intimate wedding celebration. Congratulations, you two! I cannot wait to celebrate you both later this fall! 🙂
