This summer engagement session at Oak Point Park was too much fun! I had the best time getting to know Romy and Alex a little better – they are the cutest high school sweethearts! Romy told me (if I remember correctly) they’ve now been together for 9 years – so their wedding is a celebration has been a long time in the making! They are so sweet to each other and so much fun to be around. We had the best time together! I first met these two back in September (how has it been that long?!) and have been looking forward to doing their engagement session all year! It’s crazy how fast time flies!

We met at Oak Point Park in Plano for their session. This is such a beautiful nature preserve right in the heart of DFW with so many beautiful spots for a session! You’d never believe it by looking at their photos, but we dodged the most insane summer storm towards the end! (I swear this has been the rainiest summer ever!). There was thunder rolling all around us and we were a good 10-15 minute walk from our cars – I was internally freaking out and these two were cool as cucumbers! We held out as long as we could and thankfully didn’t get rained on walking back. I’d say it was definitely worth the risk! 🙂

Romy and Alex are getting married this fall at the beautiful Bella Cavalli venue in Aubrey, TX. Congratulations, you two! I cannot wait to celebrate you both in just a few short months! 🙂
