I’ve had my eye on this spot in Oklahoma for at least a year now! Taylor and I used to be coworkers (she works out of the OKC office) and would run into each other at different conferences throughout the year. Knowing she was an Oklahoman, I told her to let me know if she was ever interested in a session because I knew the PERFECT spot close (-ish) to her. At the beginning of this year, we scheduled our session for early April as a 2-year Anniversary Session for them. Due to COVID-19 and after what feels like many, many weather delays, it finallyyy happened and all of my “mountain momma” dreams came true! Y’all know the song I’m talking about 🙂

We loaded up on all the necessities (good tunes and good snacks of course) and made a good ole fashioned road trip out of it! The drive was about 3 hours for us and about 1.5 hours for Taylor and Ran, but completely worth it! Mount Scott is nestled right in the heart of Oklahoma, but you’d think we were in Colorado with those beautiful views. [insert heart eye emoji x 2!]

Taylor and Ran handled the heat like champs and showed off their acrobat skills! I scoped out the perfect little rock to end our session on during some epic golden hour light, but it proved quite difficult to get to. They were up for the challenge and the photos below were totally worth it!
