I’m SO excited to share a sneak peek of Meredith and David’s Fort Worth engagement session from last weekend!! Being a Fort Worth native myself, I’m always giddy when I have a session or wedding on that side of town (it always feels good to go “home”). I had so much fun with these two and our session was quite the adventure! Meredith and I initially bonded during our zoom consultation over a mutual love for our cats, haha! π I knew then she was one of my dream brides and I’m SO excited to be able to capture their special day next spring!
When I chatted with Meredith about their engagement session, she mentioned wanting a little bit of a rural vibe mixed in with their love of Fort Worth. We came up with the perfect plan for their session and started off at Tandy Hills Nature Preserve just outside of downtown. Tandy Hills is the perfect rural spot for a session, and not too crowded this time of year! (Shoutout to Meredith for being an actual champ in her wedges – it’s definitely not the smoothest path around!) After finishing up at Tandy Hills, we ventured into Sundance Square and had PERFECT views of downtown (and some pretty perfect shots too!). We finished up our session around Bass Hall which paired perfectly with Meredith’s gorgeous navy dress. Adding David’s cowboy hat was the perfect way to end this Fort Worth session! Yeehaw!
These two were the sweetest and just SO easy to be around, it felt like we were old friends! The cherry on top is just how cute they are towards each other! I’m already counting down the days until I can photograph them again – come on, April!
Congratulations y’all! I’m so excited to celebrate you two next April!
