I absolutely loved this Deerfield Estates bridal session for my sweet bride, Hannah! Hannah and Tanner wed last month which means I finally get to share her beautiful bridal portraits. π Hannah and Tanner were my last wedding booked in a pre-Covid world, so our time getting to know each other looked a little bit different and a lot more virtual! We met up for coffee for the first time about a year after booking – it felt so good (and normal!) to finally meet Hannah in person π She is truly the kindest soul and I’ve loved getting to know her more over the last year!
When chatting through location ideas for her bridal session, we decided to do it at at their wedding venue in Waco. This was a great opportunity for us to scope out some portrait spots for the big day and why not take advantage of the beautiful venue?! Spoiler alert – we weren’t able to use all of the beautiful portrait spots we scoped out because it poured the. whole. wedding. day!
I’m a firm believer in learning a lot about a person when you see how they react to situations out of their control. Not ideal weather on your wedding day is the perfect example of that! Hannah was the most laidback and easy going bride, she took it all in stride! At the end of the day, she was marrying her groom and that was all that mattered. π Looking back, I’m so thankful we chose their venue for her bridal session so she has some *sunny* portraits here as well!
Although the weather was not in our favor, it was the perfect day. I’m so excited to share more of their beautiful wedding soon! π
