I absolutely loved this gorgeous Oak Point Park Engagement Session! I’ve had my eye on this location for a while but hadn’t had the chance to do a session here yet. I knew this one spot inside the nature preserve had the potential to be absolutely beautiful, especially with some golden hour glow! When chatting with Kirstein and Cameron about their session, they were totally up to try somewhere new and meet me here. It’s always an amazing feeling when your couples trust your vision. 🙂 Even though it was a 10-15 minute walk to get to the “spot,” it was totally worth it! I absolutely love how their sneak peeks turned out!

I met Kirstein and Cameron over coffee a few months back after the recently got engaged. We hit it off immediately! At the time, they were still in the preliminary planning stages and were working to confirm their date and venue. I was secretly crossing my fingers and I was so thrilled when I had their date open! 🙂 They are getting married next spring at the beautiful Stone Crest Venue in McKinney!

Our session took place after about 3 weeks worth of rain moved out (finally!) and the heat of the summer moved in. Even with the 90 degree temperature, we had the best time together! I had such a great time getting to know them even better and create some beautiful portraits together!

Congratulations, Kirstein and Cameron! I cannot wait to celebrate you both next spring!
